Organic Darjeeling White Tea (25 G)
₹699 · 25 g airtight tin · about 12 cups
Darjeeling white tea, made from the youngest buds and leaves and handled as little as possible. The cup is pale, light and naturally sweet, with a soft floral note and no bitterness. This is the most delicate tea we make, and the one to drink slowly.
Hand-plucked on Happy Valley Tea Estate, Kurseong, at 6,900 ft, under organic practice. Because white tea is mostly bud, a small tin holds a lot of picking work, which is why 25 g costs what it does.
How to brew
1 teaspoon (about 2 g) in 200 ml water at 80°C · steep 3–4 minutes. Drink it plain, without milk or sugar. The leaves take a second steep well.
Why it's worth it
- Bud-heavy white tea, hand-plucked at the estate
- Minimal processing, so the leaf stays whole and pale
- Airtight tin protects a fragile leaf
- Makes a considered gift for someone who already drinks tea
